"Lara
Croft: Tombraider" (2001) is a movie that is realy worth while. Not because of the
intriging story. There is hardly any. Also not because of the special effects which
are nice, but not extremly
remarkable. There is only one reason why you must see this movie.
Angelina Jolie.
It is well known that Tombraider is an adventure computer game which first was released back in 1996. The game was exciting, trendsetting, playable and the grafics were realistic. (it was 1996 remember) The game developers received worldwide rightly deservered credits. Because of the big commercial and artistic success it was to expect that a lot of sequels would follow. And so it did. In total there has been five Tombraider games. Even six if you also count the gameboy version. Lara Croft is the main character in all games. A young strong woman with enormous breasts, nice ass, firm legs, distinguished accent and a woman who is not afraid to shoot with two heavy guns at everyone and everything that comes in her way. A very suitable personality for a movie. The next logical step was the appearance of Lara Croft on the white screen.
But who should have the role of Lara Croft? A big problem. After months of searching, screening and pondering they came up with Angelina Jolie. It proofed to be a very good choice.
Angelina grinds, shoots, fights, moans, careers, hits, runs and jumps all over the movie screen. With a sexy voice and attitude she disparages everybody. It deserves a big compliment she succeeded to give a two dimensional character like Lara Croft a soul. Angelina Jolie plays fabulous.
Lara Croft raises James Bond to the square. To be more precise: Forget James Bond. James Bond is nothing compared with miss Croft. Angelina Jolie is the new James Bond!
Looking at a selfconfident beautiful woman for one hour and a half. That is what Lara Croft: Tombraider has to offer. More there is not to tell about this movie.
So sit down, relax, put your hands down your pants and admire Angelina Jolie.
